About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at Michael Page. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process of retail and commercial projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination
    • Compile and plan budgets, cost estimates, and other financial estimates for retail and commercial projects.
    • Coordinate and plan schedules for contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Construction Management
    • Develop construction projects with architects, engineers, and trade workers to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
    • Order and manage materials and equipment for construction projects.
    • Provide internal reporting and projections for inventory management.
  • Project Oversight and Supervision
    • Oversee and supervise construction project progress and provide reports on timeline, progress, and adjustments.
    • Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
    • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in retail and commercial construction projects.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Knowledge of a variety of construction field concepts, practices, and procedures.
    • General understanding of construction-related documents.
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
