Position: Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate
A reputable furniture enterprise is seeking dedicated individuals eager to contribute as part of a well-established organization offering competitive hours and a comprehensive benefits package. This role is full-time, operating Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM, with occasional weekend shifts and overnight travel as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a solid history of experience in furniture assembly and the delivery of household items.
- Safely load and unload furniture, ensuring secure handling throughout the process.
- Perform warehouse tasks including furniture assembly and repair.
- Organize and stock inventory, which may involve constructing shelving at heights exceeding 12 feet.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Possess a basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and general building skills.
Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be capable of personally carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs. up stairs and over distances of approximately 200 feet.
Driver Qualifications:
Applicants should have proven experience operating a box van with a clean driving record. Candidates must be insurable and able to successfully pass drug and alcohol screenings. All applicants will undergo a background verification process.
