    • Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and a valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI). Experience in student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience is also preferred.

Working Conditions:

The English/Theatre Teacher will work in a fast-paced educational environment with frequent interactions with students, parents, and colleagues. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Tools/Equipment Used:

The English/Theatre Teacher will use personal computers and peripherals, standard instructional equipment, and other tools as needed to perform job duties.

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:

The English/Theatre Teacher will be required to maintain emotional control under stress, work prolonged or irregular hours, and perform physical tasks such as standing, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
