Supervising Special Investigator II Leader

Job Description and Duties
The Department of Developmental Services - Canyon Springs Community State Facility is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Special Investigator II Leader to oversee the daily operations and supervision of the protective services division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct protective services staff to ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Investigate and resolve complex consumer-related protection issues.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the overall performance and efficiency of the protective services division.
- Collaborate with departmental leadership to identify and address emerging trends and issues.
- Ensure all staff functions are performed in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Completion of the Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) Basic Academy or Specialized Investigators Basic Course.
- Current California driver's license.
- Background clearance and medical evaluation prior to hiring.
Working Conditions:
