Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Advanced Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Steel Dynamics. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting with equipment repair, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the repair and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the production of high-quality products by maintaining well-maintained equipment and adhering to environmental protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Safety awareness and a strong work ethic.
  • Reliable transportation.
