Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for managing the entire client experience from initial evaluation to implementation of treatment to family education to discharge.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with speech and language disorders.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess children's communication skills and identify areas of strength and weakness.
- Provide play-based therapy services in a one-on-one setting, using a variety of approaches to find the most effective therapeutic fit for each child.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to educate them on their child's communication needs and provide strategies for supporting their child's development.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in speech therapy and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
- Kansas Speech Language Pathologist License.
- 2+ years of experience working with children with speech and language disorders.
- Personal professional liability policy.
The ideal candidate will have availability to work 2-3 days a week, with 6 or more total hours of availability between the hours of 4:00-7:00 PM.
CompensationThis position is paid $47 per billable hour of therapy.
BenefitsBenefits are not available for part-time positions. Full-time employees (therapists providing 25 or more billable treatment hours/week) are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits package.
