We provide personalized, intensive, and client-centered therapy services for children with various neurodevelopmental disabilities including developmental delays, autism, and sensory processing disorder. No two children are the same and therapists will need to use their expertise and creativity to connect with their clients, implementing a variety of approaches to find the "just right" therapeutic fit for your clients. Our therapy style is primarily play-based in a one-on-one setting. Therapists will need to be self-driven, organized, a quick learner, and capable of juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities at one time while providing high-touch service to clients, families and caregivers. Applicants should have 2+ years of experience, a Kansas SLP License, and a master degree in speech therapy from an accredited university.ExpectationsTherapist will need to be a quick learner, capable of juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities at one time while providing high-touch service to clients, families and caregivers.RequirementsApplicants should have 2+ years of experience;Kansas Speech Language Pathologist License;A Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university; andA personal professional liability policyAvailabilityThe ideal candidate will have availability to work 2-3 days a week, with 6 or more total hours of availability between the hours of 4:00-7:00 PM.The current need at Leawood is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. We can accommodate a candidate interested in Saturdays (between 8 am-2 pm). CompensationThis position is paid $47 per billable hour of therapy.BenefitsBenefits are not available for part-time positions.
