Key Responsibilities:
  • Define, plan, and prioritize features for System Management software and Open Source initiatives across Compute, Storage, and Networking products.
  • Cultivate and enhance relationships with Enterprise clients through technical presentations.
  • Spearhead features related to System Management, along with associated firmware and software.
  • Collaborate with SW & HW Product Management teams, designers, and other development groups to shape our product strategy focused on remote management.
  • Coordinate across various HW, FW, and SW departments to identify and address technical challenges.
  • Develop and oversee a timeline for activities, milestones, and deliverables associated with our products.
  • Track progress within the group's responsibilities for the feature area.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to create and sustain a customer/partner product promotion initiative.
  • Advocate for and collaborate with third-party developers, partners, and customers in software development, serving as the primary liaison.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required within the business context.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • At least 8 years of experience in computer firmware and software development or management, or a comparable technical role.
  • Proven experience in managing support inquiries related to Workload Management.
  • Strong technical understanding of software concerning hardware security and industry-standard management specifications.
  • Experience in the development of software processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and leadership capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with peers across functional teams.
  • Capacity to juggle multiple projects and timelines to ensure comprehensive support and completion of all project components.
  • Strong technical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Comfort in architecting solutions alongside experts from Tier 1 organizations globally.
  • It is beneficial to have the ability to contribute to and collaborate with industry standards bodies such as DMTF and influence decisions on behalf of Supermicro.
  • Proactive in identifying potential risks, issues, and bottlenecks.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $210,000. The offered salary will be influenced by various factors, including location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparisons to existing employees in this role. Alongside a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may qualify for additional compensation forms, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
