The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industry or business experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact successfully with academic and business personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality instruction by establishing a learning-centered environment and effectively planning and preparing for classes.
  • Prepare all course materials and lessons, including topical outlines and standardized syllabi.
  • Provide clear course expectations, evaluations, and timelines to students.
  • Design and administer assessments to evaluate student learning outcomes.
  • Complete grade books, final grade sheets, and learning assessments on a timely basis.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and have them available upon request.
  • Promote student success by showing flexibility in style and work schedule.
  • Consult with academic area chairs and other College personnel on course curricula, instructional strategies, and College policies.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in a related field with specialization in After Effects software.
  • At least 2 years of industry or business experience in the teaching subject area.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a team member.
  • Ability to interact successfully with academic and business personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous teaching experience in an academic environment.
  • 5 years of industry or business applied experience in the teaching subject area.
  • Experience with online teaching and/or instruction in higher education.
  • Experience working with students from diverse academic backgrounds and life experiences.
