Job Title: Lead Cybersecurity Analyst
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months with potential for extension

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a Lead Cybersecurity Analyst encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Designing, implementing, managing, and supporting various information security systems, frameworks, and applications;
  • Conducting internal security evaluations, assessing risks associated with third-party partners, and performing comprehensive security evaluations of diverse technologies, including directory services, database systems, operating systems, programming languages, web services, firewalls, remote access solutions, messaging systems, encryption technologies, wireless systems, and both internally and externally hosted applications;
  • Staying informed about current and emerging security threats, compliance requirements, and technological advancements;
  • Identifying existing and potential vulnerabilities, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to devise, recommend, and develop risk mitigation strategies, and monitoring remediation efforts and timelines;
  • Partnering with management to uphold, enhance, and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and internal controls, investigating known or suspected security breaches, supporting audits, and contributing to the formulation of appropriate audit response plans;
  • Applying project management best practices to initiate, oversee, and conclude multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Creating and maintaining a variety of documentation related to projects and information security initiatives.
