Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Fitter to join our team at LaborOne Staffing. As a Structural Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting structural, plate, and mechanical materials into various assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, section drawings, and weld symbols to derive measurements and dimensions.
  • Unload, sort, and stack heavy steel pieces, then hoist them into place for fastening.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and install structural steel products, including beams, braces, pipes, and plates.
  • Lay out and fit pipe, beams, decks, and jackets; frame skids, bends, and elevations.
  • Estimate sizes, distances, and quantities, and determine time, costs, and resources needed for a work activity.
  • Inspect subordinate's work for compliance with contract plans and specifications.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent with previous experience in the field or a related area.
  • Strong working knowledge skills and abilities for the position.
  • Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions.
  • Proficient in the safe and efficient use of electrical, hand tools, power tools, and layout tools.
Working Conditions

Able to meet all physical requirements, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and work at heights and in confined spaces.
