Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Golden Chick 1278. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals according to our menu.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Prepare ingredients for use in cooking and demonstrate a strong understanding of food preparation.
• Cook food in various utensils or grills, ensuring that dishes are prepared to a high standard.
• Check food while cooking to stir or turn, and ensure that all dishes are presented in a visually appealing way.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all sanitation procedures.
• Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly, and monitor stock levels to place orders when necessary.
• Check the quality of ingredients and maintain a high level of quality control.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cook or in a related culinary role.
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and techniques.
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
• Excellent physical condition and stamina, with the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a diploma from a culinary school being an advantage.
