Warehouse Manager Job Description

At PeopleReady, we're seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods, managing inventory, and supervising a team of warehouse employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train warehouse employees to ensure peak efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement warehouse operations systems, including product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, and inventory management.
  • Oversee daily operations, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, and customer service.
  • Manage the warehouse team, scheduling and overseeing their work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
  • Inspect equipment and tools regularly and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
  • Meet with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention.
  • Oversee logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages.


Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two or more years of experience in a warehouse role managing hourly employees.
  • Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.
  • Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal.
  • Background check and drug screening required.
