Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled Dental Hygienists who share our passion for delivering high-quality patient care and are eager to make a positive impact on patients' lives. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a supportive and collaborative team environment, providing optimal patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough dental cleanings to maintain patients' oral health, utilizing modern equipment and techniques to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to address patients' unique needs.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care, empowering them to take an active role in maintaining their oral health.
  • Take and develop digital X-rays, utilizing modern imaging technology for precise diagnostics and improving patient outcomes.
  • Document patient information and treatment plans accurately in Open Dental Software, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with the rest of the team.
  • Assist with patient comfort and address any concerns or questions they may have, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
  • Collaborate with the dentist and other team members to provide optimal patient care, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive exceptional results.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Dental Hygienist license in New York State, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution, showcasing your strong foundation in dental hygiene principles and practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, patient-focused attitude, enabling you to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team, fostering open communication and collaboration throughout the practice.
  • Proficient in using dental software and technology, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and innovations in the field.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of patient care.
