Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our team at Finger Lakes Dental Care in Canandaigua as a Lead Team Member.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, be able to motivate and inspire the dental hygiene team, and provide exceptional patient care while promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor the dental hygiene team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes and experiences.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve team collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they meet the highest standards of patient care and professional excellence.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on team performance, patient outcomes, and continuing education requirements.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to promote a culture of professionalism, respect, and open communication throughout the office.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in New York State.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental hygienist, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Able to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
