Registered Nurse

The Travel Nurse RN role is essential for providing high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings. This position requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in nursing and a commitment to excellence.
Certification Requirements- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
- State License Verification: Required
- NURSYS Verification: Necessary for RN, LPN/LVN, AP
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant nursing field
- Traveler Experience: First-time travelers are not accepted
- Required Skills: Proficient in titrating vasopressors, MS/Tele, and interpreting dysrhythmias
- Preferred Skills: Community hospital experience and familiarity with cardiac drips (nitro, heparin, insulin, levophed, cardizem)
- Ability to manage drips and respond effectively if a patient requires ICU care
- Shift: 3x12, 18:30-07:00
- Call Requirement: None
- Float Requirement: None
- Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per month
- Patient Ratios: Target ratios of 1:7, with a 1:2 ratio for SCU level patients
- Unit Systems: CPSI (transitioning to Meditech)
- Orientation: 16 hours
Note that local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel position.
