Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians.
- Document patient information, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a critical care or emergency department setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with cardiac drips (nitro, heparin, insulin, levophed, cardizem).
- Community hospital experience.
3x12 hour shifts, 18:30-07:00, with no call requirement or float requirement. Weekend requirement is 2 weekends per month.
