We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at DaVita, a leading provider of dialysis services. As a LPN, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing dialysis treatments.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify and address patient needs, and make recommendations for care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and new technologies.
- Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- IV certification required if required by state regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system.
- BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation.
- Minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required; functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire required.
