About the Job
This Nurse Resident position is a key role in our hospital's mission to provide exceptional patient care. As a member of our nursing team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and notify providers as needed.
- Teach patients, families, and caregivers about patient medical conditions, treatment plans, and medication information.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.
- No previous experience required, but willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
