Senior Software Developer

At Compu-Vision Consulting, we are seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Client Enterprise Data Management & Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing analytical support for conceptualization, development, and implementation of complex systems of multiple inter-linked programs. Your in-depth knowledge of all phases of client/server applications technology will be essential in the analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, and documentation of computer programs. Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring other technical staff in cloud technologies and assisting in identifying, planning, and migration of on-premises data solutions suitable for migration to the cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate business requirements into Data Warehouse solutions
• Create data models and designs to meet specific business needs that require sourcing data from multiple source systems
• Mentor technical staff in cloud technologies
• Assist in identifying, planning, and migration of on-premises data solutions
• Code Oracle, Snowflake, or IICS ETL scripts to transform data from operational databases and populate various targets
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in database development, including analyzing, designing, documenting, coding, testing, and implementing primarily SQL code
• Thorough knowledge of Data Warehouse applications on AWS
• Experience working with Airflow
• Exceptional Oracle/Snowflake SQL skills
• Hands-on experience with Cloud architectures
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Informatica IICS
• Understanding of version control and use of GitHub
• Experience working with large, multi-terabyte data warehouses
• BS in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent experience
• Medicaid or other healthcare or claims processing experience
• Experienced in Oracle SQL skills and PL/SQL skills
• Experience with Perl, system administration, database administration, storage architectures, backup & recovery, and networking
Education and Certifications:
• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience required
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Certification and AWS Certified Solutions preferred
• Snowflake Certification preferred
• Informatica IICS Certification preferred
