Job Overview:

As a Junior Security Officer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure a safe and secure environment for our clients, community, and visitors. Duties include conducting foot and vehicle patrols as required, enforcing security measures, and responding to incidents as necessary. Your assigned location may vary based on your experience and availability.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-pressure situations
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in accordance with established procedures
  • Ability to perform the duties required, including standing, walking, and potentially restraining individuals if necessary
  • Familiarity with security systems and technology
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required for the role)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security
  • Respond to alarms and emergencies, following established protocols
  • Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security breaches
  • Conduct regular security checks to identify and address safety hazards or violations
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding security-related incidents or concerns
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to employees and visitors as needed
  • Complete thorough and accurate incident reports as required
  • Stay updated on security procedures, protocols, and industry trends
