About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Dental Assistant - Expanded Functions to join our team at Snodgrass King Pediatric Dentistry. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and assisting our dentists during procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists during procedures, including preparation and documentation
  • Perform clinical procedures such as restorations, adaptation of temporary crowns, removing surgical sutures, and applying topical fluoride treatments
  • Educate patients on their treatment plans and maintain their oral health
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, possessing excellent interpersonal skills and establishing positive relationships with our team and patients
  • Communicate professionally both orally and in writing with a service-oriented approach
Requirements
  • EFDA Certification or on-the-job training required per state requirements
  • Radiography licensure for respective state requirements
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates
  • CPR Certification is required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of dental charting software and digital x-rays with the ability to learn new programs as necessary
