Position Overview: AV Solutions Account Executive - Field Sales

The AV Solutions Account Executive plays a crucial role in identifying and developing new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships. This involves evaluating and promoting high-level audio, video, and lighting products and services tailored to meet client needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a focused approach, strong business development skills, and a consultative selling style, consistently maintaining a robust sales pipeline while demonstrating in-depth knowledge of AVL technology.

It is important to note that this role is classified as an outside sales position, as defined by relevant labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Proven professional AV experience, with established customer relationships in various sectors, including Houses of Worship, Education, Live Sound/Venues, and Recording Studios. Meet and exceed sales objectives while fostering growth within a designated area and addressing the needs of both new and existing clients. Develop strategic business plans to generate new sales leads, ensuring thorough follow-up and engagement with leads sourced from both national support teams and personal initiatives. Engage in business development activities, including cold calling and online outreach, to cultivate new business opportunities. Commit to continuous learning about new products and services to effectively represent the company to prospective clients. Proactively assess client needs to identify tailored solutions and business opportunities. Collaborate with Guitar Center retail locations and support teams to optimally serve client requirements. Maintain detailed records of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly activities. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive experience in the A/V industry is preferred. A pre-existing network of business contacts is advantageous.
