Reports to: F + B Manager, Assistant Manager & Supervisor

Share this Career Posting: The Coffee Specialist will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including an array of coffee and tea selections. Responsibilities include guiding customers through our beverage offerings, providing tailored recommendations based on individual tastes, promoting special items, and processing orders efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers as they arrive at the coffee bar.
Provide customers with menus and address any inquiries regarding ingredients.
Accurately take orders while considering specific preferences (e.g., coffee blend choices, dairy alternatives, and sweetness levels).
Prepare beverages according to established recipes.
Handle payment transactions (both cash and credit).
Ensure cleanliness of the bar and service area.
Maintain an adequate supply of clean mugs, cups, and plates.
Monitor brewing equipment functionality and report any maintenance requirements.
Adhere to health and safety standards.
Relay customer feedback to management.
Uphold Company Core Values and maintain a professional demeanor.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Prior experience as a Barista or Server.
Practical knowledge of brewing equipment operation.
Understanding of sanitation regulations.
Willingness to work flexible shifts.
Basic arithmetic skills.
Ability to assess customer preferences.
Strong communication skills.
High school diploma; relevant training is advantageous.
Previous experience in hospitality is preferred.
Exceptional customer service abilities.
Proficiency in using technology such as tablets and iPads.
Physical Requirements
Capability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift 20 lbs. or more.
Willingness to work long hours and various shifts.
Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
Mental Requirements
Ability to make quick, sound judgments.
Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Willingness to accept direction.
Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations.
