As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will play a critical role in supporting the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization by engaging with healthcare decision-makers to showcase how our respiratory care products and services effectively address patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with referring physicians regarding patient treatment, medical condition, home environment, Plan of Care, and recommend appropriate respiratory care solutions.
  • Complete new-patient setups, coach patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions on how to use equipment, and provide respiratory disease education.
  • Educate patients on patient rights, financial responsibility, and collect payments and signatures where applicable.
  • Perform regular checks on patients by performing limited physical examinations (vitals, breath sounds, O2 saturation, and lung capacity tests), and check equipment to ensure proper use and operation.
  • Follow established safeguards when contacting patients in their homes/locations.
  • Complete paperwork, charting, and plan of care promptly and accurately, and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field required.
  • Current Respiratory Therapist License in good standing within the state of employment is required.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Two years of home healthcare/hospice experience preferred.
