Job Title: Senior Design Engineer

At Fluor, we are committed to delivering exceptional results through innovative design and engineering solutions. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving project success by providing technical leadership and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review detailed project estimates and schedules, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Establish and track material key quantities, providing analysis and forecasts to inform project decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and review specifications, including design criteria and technical requirements.
  • Participate in equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities, ensuring compliance with organizational and project objectives.
  • Perform complex engineering calculations, specify equipment, and solve problems of varying complexity.
  • Develop and deliver training materials, conduct training seminars, and provide performance appraisal input and counseling to support employee growth and development.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions, analyzing and making recommendations to address complex problems and improve project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical expertise in design engineering, with a focus on project management and leadership.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results, with a focus on timeliness, budget adherence, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, develop creative solutions, and make informed recommendations.
