Job Title: Senior Design Engineer

At Fluor, we are committed to delivering exceptional results through innovative design and engineering solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review estimates and schedules, progress reports, and workforce forecasts to ensure project success.
  • Establish, track, and monitor material key quantities, providing analysis and forecasts to inform project decisions.
  • Develop and review specifications, including design criteria, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in activities associated with equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
  • Perform and check calculations, specify equipment, and solve complex engineering problems to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Participate in people development through mentoring, training material development, conducting training seminars, and performance appraisal input and counseling to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project success.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge and skills in design engineering, with a focus on project management and leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global business environment.
