We are looking for a Regional Maintenance Engineer to oversee maintenance operations across multiple hotel properties with a competitive starting salary of $50,000, adjusted based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The Regional Maintenance Engineer (RME) will provide hands-on support to various hotel locations.
  • This role requires 95% travel, with duties adapting to the specific needs of each property.
  • The RME will plan, manage, monitor, and execute maintenance operations in accordance with OSHA standards and company policies.
  • Effective communication with guests regarding maintenance issues and collaboration with onsite management is essential.
  • The RME will handle maintenance tasks ranging from minor repairs to larger capital projects and offer technical guidance to maintenance staff.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance in guest rooms and communal areas.
  • Oversee the completion and documentation of maintenance work orders.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, caulking, cleaning carpets/floors, and replacing light bulbs and toilet seats.
  • Ensure the safety and security of hotel premises and adhere to key and lock protocols.
  • Maintain the landscaping, parking lots, and overall exterior appearance of the properties, ensuring cleanliness.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with general tools and equipment, including lawnmowers and landscaping tools, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to exert physical effort in operating equipment (up to 50 lbs).
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision while providing exceptional support.
  • Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled environments.
  • Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
  • Specialization in Plumbing and Drywall is a plus.
