Waste Pro USA, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Septic Driver with Tanker Endorsement to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a company service truck to various locations to service, pump, and clean portable restrooms or holding tanks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a company service truck to and from pre-designated work sites based on daily routing information, adhering to Decision Driving principles.
  • Deliver and return portable restrooms, service portable restrooms, holding tanks, sinks, showers, etc., at various work sites, following the Company's servicing guidelines.
  • Restock paper products, hand sanitizer, soap, etc., in units being serviced.
  • Clean interior and exterior of units, make repairs as needed, and add chemical solution to portable restroom units.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive attitude towards company, customer, and municipal goals.
  • Perform Daily Pre and Post Trip inspections, completing Safety Lane activity and DVIR daily, in accordance with Waste Pro safety lane guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean truck and wash the exterior weekly, inspecting and cleaning the truck as needed.
  • Prepare, maintain, and submit required company and regulation-mandated reports and documents.
  • Perform other tasks as required, such as assisting other routes for completion, attending community events, or delivery of bins and/or carts.
Requirements:
  • Must have a Class A or B CDL with tanker endorsement valid for the state in which the position works, with a clean driving record meeting Waste Pro driving guidelines.
  • At least 1 year of previous experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL within the past 7 (seven) years.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Understand refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices, as well as Department of Transportation and State requirements for operators of commercial motor vehicles.
  • Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
  • See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
  • Exhibit normal range of body motion.
  • Drive a straight truck with tank observing legal and defensive driving practices.
  • Manipulate heavy equipment control levers.
  • Follow a designated collection route or work schedule.
  • Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
  • Maintain written records and service responses.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination required.
  • Must be able to speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, dispatch, and supervisors, understand highway and traffic signals, and make legible entries on paperwork.
Work Environment:

Drives truck on pre-established route, manual transmission, exposure to vibration, gets in and out of the truck multiple times per day. Empties portable restrooms using pump truck. Exposure to human waste. Works in a variety of environment conditions, including wide temperature and weather variations, including heat, cold, snow, rain, wind; noise and vibrations, fumes, odors, and dust.
