Our drivers earn a weekly guarantee of $1,255, with the potential to earn even more through our Solo Miles Pay program, which offers $0.46 per mile with a minimum of 2,500 miles per week. You'll also receive $12.00 per stop with a minimum of stops per week, as well as $6.00 per drop/hook.

In addition to our competitive pay, we offer a range of benefits to our drivers, including a sign-on bonus of $1,000 at 30 days and $1,000 at 90 days, a shutdown bonus of $2,000 in two installments, and a safety bonus of $250 per quarter if applicable.

As a driver with Ryder, you'll have the flexibility to choose from a variety of routes, including Monday-Friday and some Saturdays or Tuesday-Saturday. You'll also have the opportunity to bid on routes based on your preferences and schedule.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle (9 months experience within the past 3 years, 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years' experience within the last 10 years)
