Development Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Coordinator to join our team at Providence Montessori School. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a critical role in advancing our mission and securing the resources needed to provide a high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Fundraising Efforts: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to engage and steward our donor base, with a focus on cultivating and soliciting major gifts.
  • Build Relationships: Foster strong relationships with donors, alumni, and community leaders to build a network of support for our school.
  • Manage Events: Plan and execute special events, campaigns, and other fundraising initiatives to drive revenue and engagement.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with our Heads of School, Fundraising Committee, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, with a preference for applicants with a graduate and/or terminal degree.
  • Experience: At least two years of related experience and/or training in non-profit fundraising and event planning.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to build and grow long-term relationships, and capacity to contribute to strategic planning efforts.
