Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Commissioned Police Officer to join our team in the Patrol Division. As a key member of our law enforcement team, you will be responsible for maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, and providing exceptional service to our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventive patrol, law enforcement, and traffic enforcement duties
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with citizens and other officers
  • Use reasoning to make timely, accurate decisions in a variety of circumstances

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • TCOLE certification for Police Officer
  • Valid Class C Texas driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to read and understand reports, memos, manuals, policies, rules, regulations, laws, ordinances, and statutes
  • Ability to write accurate, thorough, and complete reports
