We are seeking a skilled Sleep Medicine Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Corvallis Clinic PC.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You will be part of a dynamic team that includes two physicians and five advanced clinical practitioners.
As a Sleep Medicine Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will work closely with department physicians to evaluate patients, order testing, develop and oversee treatment plans. You will be responsible for managing a range of sleep-related conditions, including sleep apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, and snoring.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans in collaboration with department physicians.
- Order and interpret sleep-related testing, including polysomnography and multiple sleep latency testing.
- Prescribe and manage medications for sleep-related conditions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on sleep-related topics.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest sleep medicine research and best practices.
- AANC or AANP certified family nurse practitioner or NCCPA certified physician assistant.
- Ability to become confident and competent using sleep-related durable medical equipment.
- Experience using multiple interventional strategies and opportunities to assist patients with symptom management.
- Primary care experience preferred.
- New graduates considered.
