Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Server to join our team at Novellus Cypresswood. As a Server, you will play a vital role in creating a memorable dining experience for our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting tables promptly and ensuring a warm welcome for our residents
  • Answering questions about menu items and providing recommendations
  • Taking resident orders accurately and relaying them to the kitchen staff
  • Facilitating drink orders with the bar and ensuring timely delivery
  • Offering special assistance to patrons with specific needs, such as dietary restrictions or mobility issues
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods
  • Operating the drink fountain and coffee station to ensure a seamless dining experience
  • Closing out all checks at the end of every shift and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of wait staff experience, preferably in a senior living or hospitality setting
  • Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and credit transactions
  • A willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
  • The ability to lift, balance, and carry up to 25 pounds, as well as stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • A high level of energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
