Job Title: Server

Gringo's Mexican Kitchen is seeking a skilled Server to join our team

Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Server to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and greet guests, making them feel comfortable and valued.
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into our point-of-sale system.
  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests promptly and with a smile.
  • Prepare the final bill, present it to the guest, and process payment.
  • Perform side work as required by management, including cleaning and maintaining the dining area.
  • Monitor guests' dining experience and respond promptly to any requests or concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow Servers and other team members to ensure seamless service.
Requirements:
  • Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Food Handler Certification and TABC Certification are required.
Physical Demands:
  • Constant standing and walking.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Occasional working in a hot, wet, and humid environment.
