FISHER INDUSTRIES ACCOUNTING SUPPORT ROLE

The Accounting Support person will perform a variety of general accounting support tasks for the accounting department at Fisher Industries. This role is responsible for reporting and filing confidential reports, processing G/L entries, and sharing responsibilities for receivables including general ledger posting. Additionally, the Accounting Support person will assist with contract processing, serve as a support role to other members of the accounting department, and provide annual audit preparation support. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor degree in Accounting or a related field, background in Microsoft Office software, and excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report and File confidential reports.
  • Process G/L Entries.
  • Share responsibilities for receivables including general ledger posting.
  • Assist with Contract processing.
  • Serve as a support role to other members of accounting department.
  • Annual audit preparation support.
  • Process various accounting functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting preferred or in business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Background in Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
