ROLE SUMMARY:

The Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the pulling team to ensure timely processing of all orders. This position is responsible for streamlining the pulling process and ensuring that stock levels are maintained for the upcoming workload. The role involves significant physical activity, including repetitive lifting and organizing of inventory. Tasks may include lifting bulk items at various heights. The specialist also aids in reducing pulling inaccuracies by conducting stock audits and replenishing empty shelves. Additionally, this role requires transportation between different warehouse locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail while auditing stock levels and verifying item accuracy.
  • Employ problem-solving skills to fulfill orders with limited inventory.
  • Reduce errors in pulling from incorrect shelf locations.
  • Ensure walkways and aisles are free from hazards.
  • Receive and check-in products efficiently.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Clean driving record required for insurance compliance.
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to inspire others.
  • Positive attitude and adaptability in dynamic work environments.
  • Strong attention to detail in counting and tracking inventory.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent lifting of boxes weighing approximately 36 lbs and transporting them short distances.
  • Regular bending and stretching required during job performance.
  • Work conditions may include exposure to extreme temperatures and moving vehicles.
  • Repetitive motions necessitate regular stretching to maintain physical health.
  • Knowledge of safe lifting techniques and protocols for handling items overhead.
  • Comfort with climbing ladders as part of job duties.
  • Use of box cutters is a necessary task.
  • Proficiency in operating hand trucks and pallet jacks.
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment for extended periods.
  • Standing is required for the entirety of the shift.
