Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; some college experience or an Associate's degree is preferred.
- Familiarity with computer systems and software is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with faculty, staff, and students are essential.
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Capability to articulate instructions and guidelines clearly to others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to voicemails, emails, and phone inquiries.
- Coordinate with students and faculty via email and phone to arrange appointments and oversee testing.
- Handle sensitive information and testing materials with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Implement check-in protocols.
- Facilitate college and national examinations as required.
- Supervise lab equipment and ensure operational efficiency.
- Adhere to established computer lab policies and procedures.
- Advocate for college educational programs and services within the community.
- Manage computer lab schedules effectively.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the lab environment.
- Monitor and replenish computer lab supplies as needed.
- Maintain and troubleshoot computers and printers within the lab.
- Record work hours and manage student worker funds accurately.
