We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Physical Rehab Unit at LewisGale Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals recovering from various conditions and injuries.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 24-hour inpatient therapeutic care to patients with complex medical needs, including amputation, spinal cord injuries, and multiple sclerosis.
- Work closely with the Medical Director, Hospitalist, and therapy team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct daily interdisciplinary rounds to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Collaborate with family members and caregivers to promote patient education and empowerment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program.
- BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred).
- Current licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia or current multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
