Job Summary:

Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Definitive Observation Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately interpret patient cardiac rhythm strips and notify physicians of any changes.
  • Manage patients who are stable on ventilators in collaboration with respiratory therapists and physicians.
  • Manage stable hemodynamic monitoring and effectively engage patients, families, and/or significant others regarding the plan of care.
Requirements:
  • Current California RN license.
  • Current BLS and ACLS and PALS certifications.
  • One (1) year related acute hospital experience, preferably in a DOU or stepdown setting.
  • ASN degree.
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate between $47.90 and $70.74.
  • Shift differential.
  • Benefits package, including health, dental, and tuition reimbursement.
  • PTO and sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 (1 year commitment).
