Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Leader to join our team at IDEMIA as the North America VP of Finance. This is a key leadership role that will oversee the financial integrity of our team's financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Leadership: Oversee the financial integrity of the team's financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Financial Reporting: Work closely with the CFO and NA Business Line to provide financial insight and reporting on the organization's performance.
  • Financial Management: Manage all financial related matters of the business from pre-contract through forecast activity monthly and report actual performance.
  • Financial Planning: Direct and oversee the NA business line financial administration and planning, including financial policy development and implementation, budgeting, planning, and risk management.
  • Business Support: Support the NA Business Leader in all financial aspects and contribute to the growth and success of the NA business.
  • Financial Analysis: Manage and oversee the preparation of profit and loss statements and variance explanations for all financial aspects of the NA business.
  • Financial Consolidation: Consolidate NA financial results and analysis for executive level presentations.
  • Process Improvement: Establish and maintain internal systems to support financial and business operations, consistent with the company's growth and reporting requirements.
  • Financial Review: Review and monitor the organization's financial position and create and distribute necessary reports on the organization's financial stability, liquidity, and growth.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, supervise, motivate, and drive process improvement for the 4 business lines within NA as well as the NA financial planning organization.
  • Day-to-Day Guidance: Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates and actively work to promote and recognize performance.
  • Partnership: Partner with Operations to support short- and long-term financial goals.
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic thought leadership on strategy and highlight areas of opportunity.
  • Financial Processes: Lead all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes, including the financial month-end close, reporting, planning/forecasting, and analytics activities.
  • Annual Planning: Lead the annual operating plan process and participate in the annual strategic planning process.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in and drive process improvement and standardization projects across related functions.
  • Analytics: Lead deep dive analytics to support corrective action planning and strategic decision making.
  • Compliance: Implement controls and procedures to ensure compliance with IDEMIA accounting and internal control rules.
Requirements
  • Education: BS/BA in accounting or finance; master's degree and/or CPA a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of financial leadership experience within a P&L environment.
  • Skills: Project accounting experience a requirement, strong analytical skills required.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excel Skills: Advanced Excel skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and to prioritize.
  • Metrics: Experience developing metrics/KPIs to monitor financial performance.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate information to all levels of an organization.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • PC Skills: Strong PC skills including thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Leadership: Hands-on leader, not afraid to roll up sleeves to work with team to solve problems.
  • Process Improvement: Strong process improvement mindset, how do you make things better.
  • Software Experience: Costpoint, Great Plains, and TM1 experience would be a plus.
