Imaging Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Imaging Services Coordinator to join our team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to ensure a seamless experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Verify complex appointment sets across modalities for oncology patients in accordance with scheduling guidelines
- Acquire, enter, and link lab orders from Ordering Providers
- Assemble screening forms and worksheets for each imaging modality
- Work with Access Management to ensure pre-authorizations have been obtained
- Facilitate patient and staff flow for patients needing lab work
- Maintain confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Perform past-pending reconciliations
- Provide superior customer service to all patients, family members, physicians, and staff in accordance with the DFCI Customer Service Standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to perform under pressure
- Ability to multi-task and function as an integral member of the team
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to ever-changing environment and able to toggle between multiple systems during the day
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to take on additional responsibilities as situations require
