Cimarron Label is a prominent provider of innovative labeling solutions, currently seeking a skilled PrePress Technician to enhance our dedicated team. This role is essential in ensuring that our print production processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret print production tickets to accurately prepare artwork files.
  • Utilize prepress software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Apogee imposition software, for layout creation and job planning.
  • Operate and maintain prepress and plate-processing machinery.
  • Manage job schedules to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, and safety to achieve optimal results.
  • Lift materials up to 40 lbs. as required.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) relevant to the role.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED; graphic design or print-related education is preferred.
  • Prior experience in printing or a minimum of 2 years in prepress with a solid understanding of print production processes.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Adobe Creative Suite and imposition software.
  • Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
