Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician Trainee

At Inspira Health Network, we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Trainee. This is an exciting opportunity to embark on a rewarding career in emergency medical services.

Job Summary:

The EMT Trainee will participate in a comprehensive training program designed to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a certified EMT. The program includes both classroom and field training, focusing on emergency care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and oxygen therapy. Trainees will work closely with experienced instructors and field training officers to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend all assigned classes and actively participate in the training program.
  • Complete all assignments by their deadline and make up any missed classes or assignments prior to the end of the training cycle.
  • Participate in practice skill activities, write patient care reports, and ensure proper wearing of the department-issued uniform.
  • Participate in all assigned clinical and field training, and prepare for the certification examination.
  • Display a calm, courteous, and tactful manner at all times, and demonstrate the ability to think critically and solve problems in cooperation with a partner.
Requirements:
  • High School or equivalent required.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license in NJ in accordance with Inspira Health's Fleet Safety ADM.291*IHN*.
