Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Beebe Healthcare's Walk-In Center in Millville. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care to patients of all ages, from 6 months to geriatric, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, evaluate, and treat patients with medical and surgical illnesses, including pediatrics, gynecology, and geriatrics.
  • Interpret basic EKG readings and lab test results, and diagnose and treat medical conditions.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on health and wellness topics.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Manage and treat general orthopedic injuries, including splinting and treating simple fractures.
Requirements
  • Master of Science (MS) degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 4 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in emergency medicine, urgent care, or family practice.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in pediatrics, gynecology, and family medicine.
  • Previous experience as a Physician Assistant in an emergency room, walk-in center, wellness center, or internal medicine and/or family practice.
