Nurse Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Leader to join our team at Industrial Staffing Services Inc dba Equiliem. As a Registered Nurse Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and leading our nursing team to achieve exceptional clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Center Nurse Executive to maintain adequate nursing coverage and ensure safe patient care.
- Effectively utilize existing resources to minimize overtime and agency personnel.
- Participate in staff recruitment, assessment, and development to ensure a skilled and motivated nursing team.
- Assist with the Individual Performance Improvement Plan for staff whose performance does not meet center expectations.
- Recommends and facilitates employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide timely and effective care consistent with individual needs and preferences.
- Answer emergencies throughout the shift, including change of condition, starting IVs, and pronouncement of death.
- Foster a strong partnership between the medical staff and the department of nursing.
- Makes recommendations to the Center Nurse Executive regarding nursing care equipment and supplies.
- Promotes a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.
- Participates in meetings to address patient care, survey, and/or standards of care issues.
- Ensures the building is secure during the assigned shift by checking doors and alarms according to nursing center protocols.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
- A minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience is required, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing and one year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity.
- BSN preferred.
- Maintains current BLS/CPR certification.
- This position requires that the employee is able to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and visitors at the work site.
- Must provide verification of TST (tuberculin skin test) as required by state law and in accordance with Company policy.
