Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Teller and Customer Service Specialist at Midland States Bank. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and promoting bank services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive and efficient customer transactions, including cashing checks, depositing funds, and processing withdrawals.
  • Manage a cash drawer, balancing and rolling it at the end of each shift to ensure accuracy and security.
  • Assist customers with transactions, answer questions, and provide information about bank products and services.
  • Identify and refer customers to relevant banking products and services, building strong relationships and deepening customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales and service goals, and participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and transport coin and currency bags (up to 50 pounds).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
