Job Title: Site Supervisor

Integrated Medical Services (IMS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our medical office, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and that our staff is equipped to provide exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of medical assistants and other support staff to ensure smooth patient flow and physician satisfaction.
  • Assist the Practice Manager in developing and enforcing staff schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing standards for basic competencies.
  • Coordinate and manage patient care, including pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, prescriptions, and scheduling of patients for clinic, hospitals, and other ancillary medical treatments and tests.
  • Provide clerical support with patient/client notification and documentation, including complete medical records and billing information.
  • Maintain a clean, functional environment, including cleaning and disinfection of equipment, exam rooms, and storage areas.
  • Perform basic maintenance of equipment and coordinate needed maintenance for prompt repairs.
  • Keep in communication with the front office to aid in patient flow and prioritize patient work flow through clinical processes.
Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and to be accurate, efficient, and organized.
  • Requires the ability to manage multiple changing priorities in an effective and organized fashion.
  • Ability to respond to emergent or stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Ability to interact with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
  • Intermediate computer skills (i.e., MS Word, Excel).
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships while addressing complex sensitive administrative issues.
  • Must have knowledge of and follow HIPAA guidelines and secure Protected Health Information at all times.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience supervising a clinical setting.
  • Supervisory experience in a clinic or hospital setting, including medical insurance, coding, and reimbursement.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Medical Asst. Certificate/Medical Asst. Diploma.
  • Medical office experience a must.
  • Backoffice experience.
