Position Overview: Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

This pivotal role oversees the Maintenance department within a manufacturing facility. The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is tasked with ensuring compliance with all safety protocols while striving to enhance site safety continuously. This position aims to improve the reliability and efficiency of both rotating and fixed mechanical equipment within the plant. Utilizing a blend of tools, technology, and expertise, the supervisor is expected to advance the organization’s predictive and preventative maintenance strategies in a manufacturing context.

  • Directing maintenance systems and strategies for the entire facility.
  • Conducting failure analysis and root cause investigations.
  • Coordinating and scheduling all maintenance tasks, including planned shutdowns, to guarantee operational reliability.
  • Ensuring completion and documentation of all compliance-related inspections.
  • Managing project work as required by operational needs.
  • Leading the Maintenance Team, including Millwrights and Instrumentation, Electrical & Control personnel.
  • Overseeing mechanical engineering initiatives for new processes.
  • Participating and leading in cross-functional and international teams.
Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Proven experience managing maintenance teams with expertise in rotating equipment.
Preferred Skills:
In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Strong leadership capabilities. Experience in conducting failure analysis and root cause assessments. Proven track record in developing and managing capital and operational expenditure budgets.
