Your Role in Making a Difference

As a Nurse Practitioner, your main duty is to deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will collaborate with Charge Nurse(s) to facilitate patient education and activities aligned with your competencies and qualifications. This position demands strong communication and critical thinking abilities to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in evaluating and designing individual treatment plans, consulting with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff as needed. Execute medical plans by administering medications, conducting diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures as required. Manage controlled substances and implement clinical and technical care aspects according to established policies and protocols. Document nursing interactions using the SOAP format as mandated by policy and participate in required staff meetings and training. Relay information to nursing staff, physicians, healthcare unit supervisors, or other personnel as necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

Graduate from an accredited nursing program.

Experience

Preferably possess a minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience.

Licenses/Certifications

Maintain current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner within the state of employment. Must be able to obtain and sustain CPR certification.

Additional Information

Shift: 2p-10p with rotating weekends
